Sales Representative is an entry-level position that focuses on the movement of commodities from one city to another anywhere in North America. FSL sellers are responsible for your accounts from start to finish. As a sales representative, you will be prospecting customers, negotiating rates, and developing long-term relationships. You’ll own your accounts from start to finish.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach.
- Establish and build relationships and communicate effectively with team members, customers, and carriers.
- Facilitate and Onboard quality carriers to ensure the company is able to execute according to our customers’ shipping requirements.
- Procure competitive market rates by negotiating pricing with carriers on both the spot and contracted levels on daily orders.
- Work collaboratively with customer and carrier sales to ensure pick-up/delivery appointments reflect carrier and customer commitment.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with partners to grow the business.
- Maintain individual production KPI’s.
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly feedback to the sales and service teams regarding target lanes for new orders.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or higher (Prefer Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
- Minimum of 2 years in customer service
- Preferred understanding of the transportation industry
