Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach.
  • Establish and build relationships and communicate effectively with team members, customers, and carriers.
  • Facilitate and Onboard quality carriers to ensure the company is able to execute according to our customers’ shipping requirements.
  • Procure competitive market rates by negotiating pricing with carriers on both the spot and contracted levels on daily orders.
  • Work collaboratively with customer and carrier sales to ensure pick-up/delivery appointments reflect carrier and customer commitment.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with partners to grow the business.
  • Maintain individual production KPI’s.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly feedback to the sales and service teams regarding target lanes for new orders.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or higher (Prefer Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service
  • Preferred understanding of the transportation industry
